2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
‘WHILE WE LOOK AT THE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN’. That’s a strange statement to make. How do you look at something which cannot be seen? It’s like me saying, ‘While I feel the thing which cannot be touched’.
That is the LAW OF FAITH. The mystery to it is, YOU HAVE TO SEE IT WITHOUT SEEING IT. You have to feel it even though you don’t have it physically. You must have it in your spirit before you have the object physically. So to define it another way: Faith is what you SEE, FEEL and HAVE even though you don’t SEE,FEEL or HAVE it. It’s so important that you understand this, for this is the very art of Pleasing God.
The father’s of our faith knew this too well. Look at what Hebrews says about Noah: “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” -Heb 11:7
What are you believing God for? Are you seeing it? Do you feel it? Do you have it? Selah! Glory!
