As a child Of God filled with the Spirit of God, if you do not like the word of God and prayer, you are under demonic attack. It’s a sign that you are dying. Fish loves water; Every car likes fuel; Man must live by the word of God. Men ought to pray and not faint. If you dislike Prayer and God’s word, I tell you the truth, there is a problem somewhere that you must be keen to solve.
You know, there are people who enjoy everything in church – worship, praises, singing. Infact they will dance and sweat. But when it’s time for the Word of God, they will be dozing. They will attend all church picnics and programs, but call them for prayer meeting and they have excuses; and they hardly pray on their own too. Then there are those who when it’s time for the Word or Prayer, they will be checking their watch for closing time. You will think they are going somewhere. But wait and let us close, you will see them lurking around, and doing chit chats.
Listen beloved, I tell you, you are under attack. Because there’s no way you can grow without these. These two(Prayer and The Word) are the major indicators of your spiritual health. The devil knows that, so he attacks your appetite for them.

I told you in the previous episode(if you have not read part one of this series please do) that
PRAYER IS YOUR CONNECTION TO YOUR SOURCE, BECAUSE MAN IS A SPIRIT WHOSE SOURCE IS GOD (the Father of spirits).The more disconnected you are from the source, the lower you are – just like how your phone goes low and looses some functionalities if it is not connected to the power source. YOU NEED TO PRAY.

The boost that prayer brings to you is not rocket science. If you have ever spent QUALITY TIME IN GOD’S PRESENCE in prayer, then you know what I am talking about. You feel energized and boosted. You just feel you can take on the world. Before the prayer, your confidence and clarity of what to do was low. But after time in His presence you just know what to do and how to do it, and you are pumped up for it. Your source has powered you up with Life.

My sincere question to you is this:
WHY WON’T YOU STAY IN THIS BOOSTED STATE ALWAYS BY BEING CONSTANT AND INSTANT IN PRAYER? Listen to what the scriptures say about how consistent your prayer life must be:
Romans 12:12
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; CONTINUING INSTANT IN PRAYER
Ephesians 6:18
PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
1 Thes 5:17 NLT
Never stop praying.
I cannot go a day without spending time with the Lord in prayer; my spirit can’t survive it; I have trained myself that way. You need to have a CONSTANT DAILY SCHEDULE for your prayer. Then there is a place you come to where prayer becomes an unconscious consciousness for you – meaning, everywhere and anywhere you are, you are in constant fellowship with the Spirit of God. YOU ARE NOW INSTANT IN PRAYER. Glory to God!
