In love you never come to get – YOU COME TO GIVE. The person who only comes to get doesn’t understand love and is impoverished by getting.
That is why you don’t enter a loving relationship looking at what you will get from the other partner, but rather, what you will give. Many people have created problems for their relationships by that misunderstanding. If all lovers will focus on ‘their giving’ rather than on ‘their getting’, relationships and marriages will be such a beauty. But human love is exactly the opposite, that’s why I tell you that what we call love is not love at all.

1 John 3:17‭-‬18
“If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

When you see someone in need and you turn a cold shoulder and do nothing about it, Brother John says, how can you say you have the love of God in you? For most of us believers, our love is merely theoretical. But love must be very practical. Open your bowels of compassion and give to someone today. Give your time, give a helping hand, give your money, give your prayer, give a kind word. JUST GIVE FOR LOVE ALWAYS GIVES.

The world we live in is controlled by selfishness throughout. But if we follow the impulses of our recreated spirit, we would live as the master lived, in love. We will be the difference everywhere we go.

1 John 4:9-10
“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. “
Someone said to me the other day, “If I become rich I will help the poor.” But not so brother, if you can’t help people with the little you have, you would not do any differently if you became very rich. If you can’t share with them now, you cant share with anyone then. LOVE SHARES THE HALF LOAF. LOVE SHARES THE LITTLE.

Jesus said,
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” – (Luke 16:10)
That is why God so loved the world that He gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. It was HIS ONLY, yet He gave him. May we follow after Love’s impulses even with our little. Hallelujah!
Let me tell you a tale of love. In May 1914, two years after the Titanic sank, there was another ship called the ‘Empress of Ireland’ which also sank, though many people haven’t heard of that one. About a thousand of the total 1,400 people on-board died. Among those who died were 170 salvation army youth leaders who were onboard, going for a conference. They were fortunate their cabins were close to the life jacket room so most of them grabbed a life jacket and fell into the water. But interestingly, after the accident when a body count was done, none of them survived. What happened to them?

During the survivors meetings after the accident, most of the survivors came forward and told similar stories: ‘A young lady or gentleman swum up to me and gave me their life jacket and introduced Jesus to me and prayed for me. They gave up their lives for me.’ One of the survivors said he refused to take the jacket from this young lady because how can a big grown man accept that a younger lady should rather die. But the lady asked, ‘Sir, do you know Jesus?’. ‘No’, he replied. ‘Would you like to know him?’. The man replied ‘Look, I am dying now I am not ready for that’. So the lady removed the jacket and threw at him and said, ‘YOU NEED IT MORE THAN I DO – WHEN I DIE I GO TO BE WITH THE LORD, BUT YOU WILL PERISH’. With tears in his eyes, the man testified, “That night, I was saved twice. From the water and from my sin, because a young lady gave me her life jacket and gave me Jesus.” In the icy waters, these young men and women said to the unsaved, you need the life jacket more than we do and gave their lives to save others. This is the JESUS-KIND OF LOVE. He gave his life for us, so we can do same for others.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

There is a new force of love stirring in our hearts for this ailing and dying world. God is touching the world with love from our hearts just as He did with Jesus’. Don’t hold yourself back, let love flow from your heart to the world. GIVE, FOR LOVE ALWAYS GIVES. Hallelujah!
