Matthew 9:36‭-‬38 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

When Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few”, He was referring to the lack of True Shepherds. And the solution he proposed was for us to pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers(Shepherds) into His harvest. Isn’t that amazing? GOD’S SOLUTION TO MEN’S WEARINESS AND TROUBLES IS RELEASING THE RIGHT SHEPHERDS INTO THEIR MIDST..

And the Shepherd’s role in the life of the disciple is TENDING which involves so many things, but the primary function is to FEED the flock. Which is why in Mark’s account, when Jesus saw the multitude as sheep without shepherd, the Bible says, ‘He began to teach them many things.’ (Mark 6:34).

Dear Child of God,

YOU NEED THE GREEN PASTURES OF GOD’S WORD TO GROW. There’s no fertilizer growth anywhere. So if you are at a church or with a shepherd and you are not growing due to lack of pasturage, you need to ask for it, or you check out immediately. Your maturity in Christ is too important to play with.

And Dear Shepherd/Pastor,

Enough of the gymnastics and side shows; FEED THE FLOCK OF GOD.

Why don’t you spend some time and pray that the Lord will send true Shepherds for this Harvest in Jesus name. Hallelujah! IT IS WELL WITH YOU THIS WEEK IN JESUS NAME. Amen!
