John 10:10,11 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

So the question on many people’s minds is, IF GOD IS SUCH A LOVING FATHER, WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO US? One lady asked me the other day, “Pastor, if God loves me, why did he allow my mum to die so early and leave us as orphans?”

There is no easy answer to that question, but we will answer it wholly as we progress in this series. But you will see that many people accuse God of many things He is innocent of. Whenever any bad thing happens to us, we say it is God; Whenever any disaster happens, we attribute it to God. Infact, we call all natural disasters AN ACT OF GOD. Can you imagine that?

But God is innocent of these. We forget that there is one that comes to kill,steal and destroy – and that’s the devil. On the other hand, the Good Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep; and the True Father sacrifices everything for his children. That’s who our Father is.
