II Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night

Indeed, all the many years that you will live on earth are condensed into ONE DAY before the Lord. And as you know, every typical day is made up of 12hrs Daytime and 12hrs Night time.

Now, IN YOUR DAY BEFORE THE LORD, HOW LONG YOUR DAYTIME WILL BE, OR HOW LONG YOUR NIGHT TIME WILL BE DEPENDS ON HOW YOU LIVE IN THE LORD. It depends on how much good works you do with your life.

This is what I mean:

Before you got born again you were in Total Darkness/Night. A dark night with no stars, and no sign of light. Then, Light came when you got saved. Anytime you walk in accordance with God’s Word and God’s prearranged purposes for your life, you are WALKING IN THE LIGHT – and that amounts to GOOD WORKS in your eternal accounts; otherwise it is NIGHT for you.

So is it possible to have a born again believer, who is always walking in the NIGHT? YES, when you don’t live out the righteousness of God in you; When you are constantly living an opposite life to what God has designed for you in Christ. And the sad reality is that, you will have no records in heaven – it will be as if you never lived, because heaven only records your DAYTIME.
