Luke 14:15-18 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. And they all with one consent began to make excuse.
In the Jewish culture, Every marriage is preceded by the marriage supper. Likewise, the marriage between Christ and the church shall be preceded by the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And the sad truth is that not all the church will be part of this glorious event. It’s for the OVERCOMERS who have made themselves ready; and it will last for a thousand years. Wow!
“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.” – Rev 19:9
When Jesus discussed this supper, he said, that those who were called for it were all making excuses:
“The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.’ “Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.’ “Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’
– Luke 14:18-20.
Whatever your reason or excuse is, KNOW THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED A HIGH CALLING FROM GOD AS A BELIEVER. DON’T DISQUALIFY YOURSELF WITH YOUR MANY EXCUSES. Have a beautiful end of week in Jesus name. Say Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
