John 20:24-25 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
There are many believers who behave like Thomas. WE WILL NEVER BELIEVE UNLESS WE HAVE SEEN OR FELT SOMETHING.
The Word tells you, ‘You are blessed’. But until we see money in our pocket, we can’t accept that as true. Jesus says, ‘By my stripes you are healed’, but as long as we feel the pain we can’t believe. We are always seeking to validate God’s word by our feelings and sight. We seem not to be aware that
WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT – 2 Cor 5:7
Christianity itself is called, “The Faith”. It is not a religion of the senses. Which is why, you haven’t seen Jesus but yet you believe that He came to die for you; And you believe He made you a son/daughter of God without doing any DNA test.
John 1:11-12 says, He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
In the same way, you must learn to extend this BELIEVING WITHOUT SEEING to every other aspect of God’s word to you, else you cannot enjoy the many blessings made available for you in Christ Jesus. BELIEVE – let that be your motto, friend. May your week be so blessed in Jesus name.
GRACEFUL MORNING
