Proverbs 12:13-14 AMP An evil man is [dangerously] ensnared by the transgression of his lips, But the righteous will escape from trouble. A man will be satisfied with good from the fruit of his words, And the deeds of a man’s hands will return to him [as a harvest].
Your words will HELP you or HARM you. Those who understand this, know how to use words to get the help they need.
One woman said, “As for me, I always speak my mind”. And it’s evident she does, because she has no friends and is always in one trouble or the other.
There is nothing wrong with speaking your mind, if your mind is ruled by the “Mind of Christ”. But if it’s not, trust me, nobody wants to hear you speak your mind. You are better off keeping it to yourself.
What does the good book say?
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Ephesians 4:29
*Your words must minister grace, strength and blessing to your hearers including yourself. Choose to UPLIFT with your words, and not to deflate and depress. Put yourself in your hearers shoes, IS IT A PAIN LISTENING TO YOU, OR IT’S A BLESSING?* Selah! Be blessed.
GRACEFUL MORNING
