I John 2:20,27 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

Do you know that EVERY BELIEVER IS ANOINTED? Yes, you are anointed, and you must recognise it and take full advantage of this your anointing.

The term, ‘to be anointed’,  has reference to the coming of the Holy Spirit upon an individual. This is why you will find in Acts 10:38,

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power..”

By this, every born again child of God has the anointing of the Holy Spirit because you have been endued with the Holy Spirit and with power just as Jesus was. This explains why John the Apostle will write that, ‘But you have an anointing from the Holy One.’

So you see, you are not ordinary. In fact, every child of God should be able to declare as Jesus did that,

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed” – Luke 4:18

Because all these and more you have been called and anointed to do in Christ.

YOU HAVE BEEN GREATLY ANOINTED child of God, so seek to grow in the consciousness and the functionality of that anointing. Instead of going from place to place looking for anointing, do well to take full advantage of the anointing which you have received from God. Hallelujah. Have a blissful week, child of God. Amen.
