James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Romans 2:9-11 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.
For those who want to argue that God must have destined some people to be poor and some to be rich, let’s have a discourse. One young man asked me, “If not God then who makes people poor?” He went on to say, “Even Jesus agreed that the poor will always be with us”
True, there might always be the poor among us, but as to whether you should be one of them or not is entirely up to you. Don’t put that on God, for God has not confined anyone to a life of misery. If he did, then he would be showing partiality and favouritism, which we know he doesn’t. So Romans says, ” God does not show favoritism“. We saw earlier Apostle James explain that God gives generously TO ALL.
That is exactly what Jesus meant when He gave His sermon on the mount, that, God makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on both the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5:45). There is no partiality. Of course, there are special blessings or rewards for those who do well in what God commands, but on a general basis, God is just and fair to all, and he has given us all access to infinite resources so as to make it in this life.
So you see, WHETHER YOU MAKE IT IN THIS LIFE OR NOT IS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU. What will you do with the many resources God has given to you? Will you bury it like that guy who received the one talent in Jesus’ parable, or would you take advantage of the blessings God has endowed you with and do something with it? THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT, FRIEND, CHOOSE CAREFULLY WHERE YOU THROW IT. Selah! Have a glorious day.
GRACEFUL MORNING
