Revelations 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

John 14:14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

The word of God is so powerful, but if you do not know how to utilize it, it will be of no effect to you. YOU CAN BE A FIRE BRAND TONGUE SPEAKING BELIEVER, AND YET LIVE IN ABJECT POVERTY AND LACK, IF YOU LACK THE RELEVANT UNDERSTANDING THAT YOU NEED.

That’s why Proverbs admonishes us to get WISDOM because it is the principal thing; and in all your getting get UNDERSTANDING. Don’t think that you can fold your arms and shut your mouth and what will be will be. No. THE POWER TO CREATE YOUR WORLD IS WITHIN YOUR MOUTH AND YOUR MIND. You have to put them to use.

You have to chase after knowledge and understanding concerning all that God has made you and given you, so you can TAKE A HOLD of it. You must be intent on this; you must be desirous of it.

So Proverbs 4:13 says,

Take hold of instruction; [actively seek it, grip it firmly and] do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life. Praise God.
