Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
One of the 1st things a new born baby learns to do is how to crawl and walk, in the same way the child of God must learn to WALK IN THE SPIRIT. And the Bible shows us that exhibiting the traits of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control is your walk in the spirit.
If you have been born again for 15 years and still do not demonstrate the fruit of the spirit in your life, you are like a 15yr old boy who cannot walk and is still crawling.
The scriptures tell us what the works of the flesh are, and what the fruit of the spirit is.
IF YOU DON’T WANT TO FULFILL THE LUST OF THE FLESH, YOU MUST WALK IN THE SPIRIT. Why that?
Because the flesh is warring against the spirit all the time, and the spirit against the flesh. The two are ANTAGONISTIC to each other. The things the spirit wants to do, the flesh doesn’t like it; and the flesh doesn’t also enjoy what the spirit wants.
So the Spirit admonishes in Galatians 5:25 that,
If we live in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit.
CHILD OF GOD, WALK IN THE SPIRIT FOR THAT IS YOUR NATURAL ESTATE. You can do this because you have Eternal life in you. Hallelujah!
GRACEFUL MORNING
