2 Peter 3:18 KJV But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Colossians 1:10 KJV That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
All other variables being equal, the level of achievements you can attain in any field or discipline is directly proportional to your level of knowledge in that area. What I mean is, if we both know how to play the guitar, but I am more knowledgeable and skilled than you, then I can play more advanced notes and melodies than you. As a result I may be the one called upon to play in more honorable occasions and not you.
The more you know, the more you can do. And that is because, knowledge is scalable. That’s why the Bible admonishes us to GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.
The many wonderful things the Bible says you can do in Christ are all potential abilities within you, and you need adequate knowledge on them so as to work them out. Infact, the difference in the lives of believers all over the world is basically a difference in apprehended knowledge. All the blessings of Christ are for all of us, but how much and how well you know will determine your level of reigning upon the earth.
The visionary and driven young man who knows this will constantly be seeking to grow in knowledge in whatever his discipline is in. Never rest on your laurels but keep adding to your knowledge constantly.
So Proverbs 10:14 says, “Wise men lay up knowledge..”, but
“Fools hate knowledge” (Proverbs 1:22)
Are you wise, or are you a fool? Selah! Have a beautiful day in Jesus name.
GRACEFUL MORNING
