Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV [2] Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. [3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Just as every vehicle needs fuel to get to its destination, and every lamp needs oil to keep giving its light and heat, EVERY VISION NEEDS FUELING TO BRING IT TO FULFILMENT.
I have observed 4 variants of fuels that will help any vision to come to pass. They are:
1. Prayer – prayer will provide the stirring and fanning that should keep the vision alive and burning.
2. God’s word – The word of God is the coal or firewood that your godly vision needs. God’s word will keep giving you the encouragement and faith to do the vision
3. Knowledge/Understanding – the requisite knowledge is the means by which your vision will be executed.
4. Meditation – finally as you learn to still your mind and remove all the clutter and debris, you will see clearly the strategies and moves that will bring you check mate in the game of life.
No proper vision from God will die if it is regularly fueled through PRAYER, GOD’S WORD, KNOWLEDGE, AND MEDITATION. That vision will surely find its voice and speak.
Prophet Habaku says, ‘For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.’
