There are many of God’s children going through afflictions and problems they are not supposed to go through; they find themselves in very unpleasant circumstances they must not be in. Jesus was amazed that the Galilean woman, being a daughter of Abraham could be bound for 18 years in that condition where she could not even raise herself.

Luke 13:11‭-‬16

And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

 It’s an illegal affliction. And don’t be surprised because the devil is a master of illegalities – remember he was a deceiver from the beginning. Like that woman, there are many of God’s children who have been afflicted illegally by the devil. What should you do in such instance? YOU MUST NOT ACCEPT IT AND SHOULD FORCEFULLY RESIST IT.

2 Timothy 2:26 says, “And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

 Do you see that? There are those who have been taken captive by the devil at will. They have been ensnared or entrapped by the enemy and are now in bondage. BUT THESE THINGS OUGHT NOT TO BE SO, and you must not settle for it as normal. “WOMAN, THOU ART LOOSED”, were Jesus’ words in response. Relax dear one, you have all the help you will ever need ‘in his name’. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I command every illegal affliction to be loosed from you right now. THOU ART LOOSED. SAY Amen.

The problem is when you start to normalize the abnormal and accept the illegality as a regularity. You will hear many believers defending and explaining their problems – they know all the science why that condition should remain with them. NOOO DEAR ONE.

Do not accept to be a victim because you are not. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ILLEGAL AFFLICTIONS FROM THE ENEMY. Be strong. Resist it. That’s the posture you must take against any illegalities in your life.

1 Peter 5:8‭-‬9 says, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of afflictions.”

Ephesians 4:27 says ‘DO NOT GIVE ANY PLACE TO THE DEVIL..’ That is why I am telling you to RISE ABOVE THE VICTIM STATUS AND TAKE CHARGE…

In your home, take charge; if there’s anything going amiss, in prayer you say, “In the name of Jesus, devil take your filthy hands off my home, off my mother, off my family. This nonsense must stop now. You are not welcome here”. Don’t allow any illegalities around you. Remember, you’ve got the power.

At your workplace, use the name. For your marriage and for that loved one going through afflictions, use the name. Don’t keep quite. Concerning that trouble that is stirring up, use the name. That sickness will flee when you use the name. Jesus has given unto you the full authority in his name, USE IT beloved. Glory to God!
