1 Thessalonians 2:19-20
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy.
Philippians 4:1
Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.
Who are your CROWN OF REJOICING? They are the people you have raised in Christ who make it to the end, holding fast their faith. If they don’t make it to the end you will lose this crown – so you will find Paul praying day and night for these ones. Paul said, concerning his disciples in Thessalonica,
“For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.” -(1 Thessalonians 3:5)
It’s a bit like Network Marketing, where if the people you brought in are advancing and making profit you are rewarded; if not you get nothing, for THEY ARE YOUR REWARD, THEY ARE YOUR CROWN. Their success becomes your success.
These are the sons and daughters you have raised in Christ; who have become followers of you and of Christ (1thes 1:6). On these, you will spend time exhorting, and comforting, and charging, and praying for them as a father. You would even give your life for these ones as a nursing mother would for her child.(1Thes 2:7-8).
This crown is not for lazy people in the kingdom. It involves labour and work. You must be a consistent DISCIPLE MAKER. And in the end, the disciples that you make and build become your Crown and Joy. They are the sheaves you will bring with you into the eternal kingdom of our God.
They will be Your CROWN, Your GLORY, Your JOY. Hallelujah!
In the eternities, some will walk in alone. But some ‘will never walk alone’. We will come with our sheaves. Receive the Grace and Endurance to be a CONSISTENT DISCIPLE MAKER for God in Jesus name. Amen!

Thank you so much.
We never walk alone. Each disciple we make also makes disciples and all these rewards follow us.
Our disciples determine our worth.
God bless you Pastor Patrick and the team.
Well said Proph Gideon. God bless you Sir
