II Peter 3:10-11 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.
The Bible says in Matthew 25 that
‘At midnight(when men were asleep), a cry was heard: “BEHOLD THE BRIDEGROOM IS COMING”.
After Jesus has been patient and delayed and waited, He will come when men least expect it. He will come the way a thief comes unexpected in the night. HE WILL COME SWIFTLY. The major question is, will He find you ready with EXTRA OIL, or will he come to find your fire dimming and dying out, like the foolish virgin? The Apostle Peter admonishes all of us:
“Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, WITHOUT SPOT and BLAMELESS; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation.” – 2 Peter 3:14-15
WITHOUT SPOT AND WITHOUT WRINKLE – WITHOUT DEFECT AND WITHOUT WEAKNESS – The Lord wants to make you into a perfect bride for Himself; He wants to take you with all your filth and weakness and PERFECT you. He knows that you cannot do this by your strength, so He wants to come in and help you. WILL YOU LET HIM? Selah!
GRACEFUL MORNING
