Romans 8:29-30 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
God’s FOREKNOWLEDGE led to His PREDESTINATION, which also led to the CALLING, then the JUSTIFICATION, and then the GLORIFICATION. But between the JUSTIFICATION and the GLORIFICATION is a great gap; a lot of things must happen to and with the believer for him to ‘enter into HIS GLORY’ FULLY.
So you will see that in the end, it seemed that FIVE OF THE VIRGINS WERE CHOSEN OUT OF THE TEN THAT WERE ALL CALLED FROM THE BEGINNING. This is where you must understand that there is a difference between the CALLED and the GLORIFIED. According to the scriptures, there are basically 3 levels of progression which the believer must attain in his walk with God. There are the CALLED > the CHOSEN > and the FAITHFUL.
Revelations 17:14
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: *and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.*”
All BELIEVERS are CALLED and JUSTIFIED, but among the called are the CHOSEN(just as the 5 wise virgins were chosen into the bridal party due to their preparedness whereas the other 5 were not). And among the CHOSEN will be the FAITHFUL.
SO IN THE ETERNITIES, THE HIGHEST RANKED BELIEVERS ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE ASCENDED THROUGH THE 3 REALMS OF PROGRESSION IN THE LORD: from the CALLED to the CHOSEN to the FAITHFUL. And these are the ones that the scripture says will be in CLOSE OPERATIONAL PROXIMITY WITH THE LORD CHRIST. I expound these truths for the believers to understand that your journey did not end with your born again experience – in fact, it has just began. Hallelujah! Let he who has ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Glory to God in the highest!
