2 Peter 1:5-8 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In God’s Word, there are things that when the believer will do and keep, will ENSURE THAT S(HE) WILL NEVER BE UNFRUITFUL IN LIFE. Wow!

The verse 10 expounds on this:

“Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble” (II Peter 1:10)

You see, there are things that when you commit yourself to, will bring you to a place of CONSISTENCY and PERMANENCY, such that you will never stumble or err. When I talk about a life of no stumbling, people begin to fight me because they are so accustomed to a life of errors and fluctuations.

They remind me, “INCONSISTENCY IS A TRAIT OF HUMANITY, LIFE IS FULL OF UPs AND DOWNs, NO MAN IS PERFECT”…and on and on. All of these are emphatically true for the man without Christ. For in Christ, God has strategically designed for a man born of a woman to WALK IN GOD-MODE, far above the inconsistencies, weaknesses and shortcomings of the human life.

God has made provisions that when you keep to His prescriptions from His Word, you will be continually FRUITFUL and never stumble in this life. As a branch, you will bear fruits in season and out of season. THIS POSSIBILITY EXISTS ONLY FOR THE MAN IN CHRIST. Child of God, STICK TO THE WORD. Hallelujah!
