Proverbs 4:23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.
Proverbs 22:5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; He who guards his soul will be far from them.
What enters your heart is what defines you as a person. Therefore protect it with all vigilance. Watch what you allow into it.
People build walls and massive gates around their houses to safeguard it from Intruders. Why?Because they don’t want any criminals and thieves to have access to their property. You put passwords and complicated PINS on your phone to prevent unwarranted access, right? Your heart is more important than that house or that phone. And you must GUARD and PROTECT what enters into it even more diligently.
The Bible says, “Keep your heart”
The Hebrew word used here for ‘keep’ is ‘natsar’ and it means to watch, guard and protect with vigilance.
It doesn’t matter who is talking, your beliefs are your responsibility – and will become your accountability. So PUT A VERY SECURED PASSWORD ON YOUR HEART; for what you allow into your heart becomes your beliefs and your beliefs determine your life, and your life here on Earth determines your eternity.
