Psalms 91:5‭-‬9 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. *Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your DWELLING PLACE*

Psalms 91 begins with ‘He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.’

And that must be the CONSCIOUSNESS of the Child of God always. That’s what it means to BE IN CHRIST or BE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Everyday, 24/7 you must have the awareness that you LIVE IN CHRIST. Christ is your dwelling place. That abode becomes your REFUGE AND YOUR FORTRESS that shields you from every danger.

The child of God who understands the revelation of Christ as a dwelling place will fear no evil in this world. Absolutely nothing can touch you in that environment. That’s what the psalmist meant by, ‘You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday’.

Living in Christ is like driving in town in an air-conditioned bulletproof limousine, the outside rain and sun and even gunshots of your enemies can’t get to you. It doesn’t matter what’s happening in your outside environment, your security is in your abode, which is Christ. This is why a thousand can fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. KEEP THIS MINDSET EVERYDAY AND EVERYWHERE YOU GO – CHRIST IS YOUR DWELLING PLACE.
