Romans 8:31-34 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

The other side of your blessing is that, NO ONE CAN BE AGAINST YOU AND BE SUCCESSFUL AT IT. If God is for you, if the riches of God are yours in Christ, if you are blessed with ALL BLESSINGS in Christ, who can really stand against you?

We have not properly understood this, hence we have not been able to take full advantage of the sovereign power given to us. It’s like having a financial case to settle and you go with the world’s richest man who just adopted you as a son. You are not afraid of paying the amount. It’s even better: you have the best lawyer in the business with you – Jesus is your advocate. And God, the judge, is also for you. Can it get any better than that?

Now, you can understand why Paul asked,

“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that JUSTIFIETH. Who is he that can condemn you?” Absolutely No One. Nobody stands a chance because no matter what happens you are coming out victorious. YOU HAVE ALREADY WON THE CASE BEFORE IT STARTED. YOU ALREADY OVERCAME. YOU ARE TRULY BLESSED ALREADY.

That’s why in the covenant God made with Abraham, God said to him, “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curseth thee”. What God said to Abraham, He said to you by extension because you are a seed of Abraham. Settle this in your heart, YOU ARE TOO BLESSED TO BE CURSED, BECAUSE YOU ARE ABRAHAM’S SEED. That’s your heritage. Hallelujah!
