Matthew 25:24-28 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man….So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.
After the ETERNAL TEST OF LIFE AND OF WORKS, there’s a Reward or a loss.
Jesus was explaining to us God’s Reward System with this Parable of The Talents. He said,
“For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”
Like that servant, after receiving the talent or gift or calling, etc, some will not put it to use. Some will bury their callings and mandates; Some will neglect the “Precious Talents” that the Lord has graciously endowed them with because of several unworthy reasons. But the truth is that, EACH ONE OF US WILL HAVE TO KNOW FOR THEMSELVES WHAT THE LORD HAS SET THEM HERE ON EARTH FOR, AND NOT COMPROMISE ON IT WITH ANYTHING. At the end of life, you will have no excuse when you stand before the judgement seat of God.
When the master returned he took what was meant for that servant and gave it to the fruitful servant.
A Word Of Caution My Friend:
YOU WILL LOSE THAT WHICH IS YOURS IF YOU DON’T PUT IT TO USE.
Is that what you want? Shalom!
GRACEFUL MORNING
