Isaiah 55:12-13 NKJV “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. [13] Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the Lord for a name, For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
Another of the traits which exemplifies the believer’s walk is JOY, the Joy of the Holy Ghost.
The believer who is always gloomy and sunless clearly is ignorant of the hope of his/her calling in Christ. When I remember who I am in Christ, what He has made me, what he has given me in Christ, I am always ecstatic. I am joyful and jubilant. It doesn’t matter what I am currently seeing, I know that I am the father’s love, I know that I am the special one. And I can never be down.
Isaiah the prophet wrote,
“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10
The JOY OF THE LORD must be your strength. Joy is not based upon occurrences or circumstances. It’s an inward state of contentment and jubilation. It is that quality that puts a smile on your face irrespective of what they throw at you. THERE IS SOMETHING INSIDE YOU SO STRONG. It rejoices in the face of affliction and tribulation. People around cannot understand why you are still smiling, but you know that YOUR REEDEEMER LIVES AND HE HAS ALREADY WON THE VICTORY FOR YOU. Hallelujah. Have a joyous day in Jesus name. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
