I had the sentence of death, in the prison of eternity I was a slave to sin, in bondage to fear and subject to defeat. I was handcuffed in lust, lies, pride; lost in darkness, the weight of the chains of oppression and suppression anguished my soul as satan used me against me to destroy me. I wondered how I got to be in peonage and longed for this torment to be over. Was freedom ever possible? Or would I have to try prison break? Satan and his cohorts of devils having a field day over my incarceration with his records in his hands against me. The devil called me sick, poor, inferior, rejected and I believed it. I had lost sense of who I was and whose I was.

But every one of the chains that held me bound Christ paid the price for, He paid for my liberation, looking me in the eyes He said “I’ll take the blame my beloved”. When He stepped in, darkness made way for His glorious light. This was the jail break I longed for but it came at a cost, there had to be a substitute  and Jesus took my place. Taking the cains at his back, by His stripes He broke the chains of disease and infirmities; He became poor that I might become rich, He imparted His righteous nature to me and gave me a right standing with the Father; without shame and inferiority as He set Satan’s record against me on fire with the flames of His love sacrifice and filled me with the seal of his Precious Holy Spirit who fills me with power and confidence and restores my identity. Then translated me from the dominion of the Kingdom of darkness into His kingdom of Light. My former estate renounced, I was a free man in the Land of light, A new man I am, a new specie, filled with the very life and nature of God, a partaker of divinity, an heir of God and joint heir with Christ Jesus. Seated together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, blessed with every spiritual blessing, possessor of all things…..no longer a slave but a King and Priest, reigning in life in Christ, filled with the Spirit of Dominion.

Now I stand, in the volume of the books it is written of me, to do thy will oh Master. To please You with my life  and honor You with my all. As your beloved in whom you take delight and your workmanship  I am come to say let your counsel stand and have all your pleasure with my life. Affirming who you say I am; I flourish like the palm tree, growing stronger with all things working together for my good as the lines are fallen for me in pleasant places. Triumphing always in Christ and more than a conqueror in all things, a victor of life I am chosen before the foundations of the earth in You to be blameless and faultless, lavished by your love, clothed in your Grace , shielded in your Favor. Living in You, moving in You and having my being in You.
