There is a longing in my soul

A hankering in my heart

And it’s all for YOU

Birthing in me a yearning for depths of YOU

Like David, my whole being follows hard after YOU

And clings closely to YOU

As the hind, YOU are the water brook I earnestly desire when I am sore ran and spent

There is no want more deeply felt than in YOUR unflappable love; I can’t ever have enough!

In the infinite ocean of YOUR presence I delight to dive in; for only YOU satisfy my soul

And so LORD I come, as YOU bid me, to drink of the water of life and feast in the Spirit

So unleash in me a well of water springing up to eternal life for YOU are the river of Life
