Matthew 25:1-2,10-11 Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish….And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
Now let’s move unto the preparation or readiness of the bride.
I believe by now, we all understand that an inclusion to the Bride Of Christ is based on your READINESS OR PREPAREDNESS; Unfortunately it’s not part of your salvation package. Which means you have to work for it, you have to JUSTIFY YOUR INCLUSION. You have to come to a state of TRANSFORMATION where all your spots and wrinkles have been removed by the assimilation of Christ into your members.
In Matthew 25, Jesus said,
The kingdom of heaven is likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
At the end of that illustration 5 of the virgins made it to the marriage supper, whereas the other 5 missed it.
Why? What happened? Why did the 5 virgins miss it? Were they not virgins? Yeah, they were virgins, but the Bible says, THEY WERE FOOLISH VIRGINS, but the other 5 were WISE.
They were VIRGINS by nature, meaning they have been betrothed/engaged to Jesus by virtue of the new birth experience through salvation, but they were foolish by their CONDUCT OR WORKS OR DEEDS, and missed the wedding as a result.
Which is why I keep telling you, IT’S NOT ENOUGH TO SAY YOU HAVE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN YOU – WE HAVE TO SEE IT IN YOUR ACTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; IF YOU HAVE THE LIFE OF GOD IN YOU AS A SEED, LET US SEE ITS FRUITS IN YOUR LIVING.
Question: Are you going to be a WISE virgin, or a FOOLISH virgin, in the end? Well, it’s not a confession matter, it’s proved by your WORKS or CONDUCTS. May this week be a fruitful one for you in Jesus name. Shout Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
