Romans 4:5-6 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works

When it comes to justification before God, understand that it’s not by your works or deeds lest any man should boast. It’s the free gift of God.

‘The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are… I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.‘ ~ Lk 18:11-13

You are not more righteous than I am because you give Tithe or fast every week or pray 3 hours every day. Don’t get me wrong, all that has it’s place, but Righteousness is a free gift of God imputed unto every man that believeth in Jesus Christ. The day you believed, you were made righteous. You are as righteous as Paul is – I am as righteous as Jesus is. It’s the same righteousness we have all received: THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST. And nothing you will do or will not do can add to it.

Don’t be like the Pharisee.

RIGHTEOUSNESS, just like SALVATION is God’s sole business; You can’t add to it or subtract from it. Hallelujah! This week is going to be a truly glorious one for you in Jesus name. Say AMEN!
