Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
WAIT – to stay in a place until an expected event happens; To tarry.
WAITING is one of the most difficult things to do, that’s why nobody really enjoys waiting. Have you ever been in a queue waiting for your turn for an appointment or a purchase? How irritating was it? Especially if you had to wait for hours. But if it’s an important appointment, you still wait, right?
In the kingdom of God, if you want to mount up wings and fly, what you must do is WAIT. It’s a strange kingdom with strange ways of doing things. Whereas people are hustling and bustling trying to make ends meet, and trying to get the boats rowing; some are struggling and moving up and down in order to advance in life; but the Lord says it’s not so with you the child of God. The Bible entreats the child of God to WAIT UPON THE LORD to renew strength.
IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, IF YOU WANT TO MOUNT UP WINGS AND FLY, YOU MUST LEARN TO WAIT UPON THE LORD. Yes, just wait in his presence. For it is in your waiting period that the Lord fills you with supernatural grace and activates the flight mechanism in you. Yes, it might seem that others have taken the lead whiles you wait, but let them. Because when your flight takes off, it will be an extreme overtaking. Glory to God! Have a beautiful week in Jesus name. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
