I Corinthians 6:2-4 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge?
It seems confusing when the Bible says to not judge at some point, and at other places says, you should judge.
In fact, the verse 5 says,
“Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?”
So what really is it? Are we to judge or not to judge? The answer is in I Corinthians 2:14-15:
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
JUDGEMENT IS FOR THE SPIRIT OF GOD, WHO SEES AND KNOWS ALL THINGS AND ALL PERSONS. Because these things are spiritually discerned. There might be situations or persons or even nations that the Spirit of God might be pronouncing judgement against, and He will be doing it through chosen vessels. This is why the scripture says, HE WHO IS SPIRITUAL JUDGES ALL THINGS.
You may pass judgement, but make sure your judgements are SPIRITUAL, else you might be in open error, passing judgements where you are not supposed to, and bringing more damning judgement on yourself; For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Be circumspect and thread cautiously when it comes to this matter of judgement. Hallelujah! Amen!
Have a beautiful week in Jesus name.
GRACEFUL MORNING
