John 16:12-13 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”
In an attempt to bring order to their congregation, some shepherds will over exert themselves on the flock. Some will try to control everything concerning their congregation and their sons and daughters. Some shepherds will turn into dictators who will try to control and micromanage every single thing about others – even to the duties of the Holy Spirit in people’s lives. This will result in the CONTROL SPIRIT which will be very deadly and counter-productive in the building of the Church of God.
Listen and listen very carefully, Child of God:
YOU SHOULD NOT ALLOW ABSOLUTELY ANYBODY TO PLAY THE ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE.
There’s the role and duty of administration that the Holy Spirit plays in every believer’s life that nobody else should play; Not your pastor, not your bishop, not your spiritual father, not even your husband should take the place of the Holy Spirit in your life.
If we are not careful, we will be raising a generation of shallow believers who cannot hear God for themselves, and can only repeat what their General Overseer says.
The true and good shepherd leads the flock to Christ, and not unto himself or herself. Be admonished in the Spirit. Hallelujah! Have a Spirit-filled week in His name. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
