2 Timothy 3:16-17 AMPC Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
God’s main method of chastening and disciplining His children is with His Word. In fact that is one of the main purposes of the Word of God.
The SCRIPTURE is profitable for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience.
Has the Word of God ever come to you, that felt like a direct attack on something wrong you are doing? There are times that the Word of God will pierce right into your heart and expose some defect or weakness in your character. It can make you so ashamed and naked. Yes the Word of God will do that to you. It’s reproofing and convicting you of sin; it’s correcting your errors, and disciplining you in obedience. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, it pierces even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.(Hebrews 4:12)
To what end?
To train you in righteousness, So that you may be complete and proficient, thoroughly equipped for every good work. Hallelujah! Glory to God!
I command your week to bring you good tidings only in Jesus name. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
