1 Corinthians 1:1-2 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours
Now the next thing I want you to know about your IDENTITY is that YOU ARE CALLED A SAINT by God when you got born again. Yes I’m talking about you, Saint Akosua.
Who a saint is according to the Bible is contrary to popular orthodox belief of saints. We are told that the saints are the ones in heaven and are revered and prayed to. We are told one cannot be a saint unless he/she is canonized by the pope or prominent Bishop. But that is very opposite to who God calls saint in the Word of God.
“Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to ALL THE SAINTS IN CHRIST JESUS WHICH ARE AT PHILIPPI” – (Philippians 1:1)
But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister UNTO THE SAINTS. (Romans 15:25)
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, CALLED TO BE SAINTS: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:7)
And there are close to a hundred references like that calling the believers SAINTS in the scriptures.
EVERYONE THAT HAS RECEIVED JESUS CHRIST BY FAITH IS A SAINT OF GOD. YOU ARE A SAINT NOW, NOT WHEN YOU GO TO HEAVEN, AND NOT WHEN ANY MAN CONFERS IT ON YOU.
You can add that title to your name because God already did. If you were Dr. Mrs. Adubea, you are now St. Dr. Mrs Adubea. Hallelujah!
Praise God, all ye saints!
GRACEFUL MORNING
