1 John 4:4-6 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

YE ARE OF GOD – this is a big statement and we have not fully grasped it yet. What does the scriptures mean when it says YOU ARE OF GOD? It’s talking about your HERITAGE; It’s referring to your IDENTITY; It’s describing what you are made of.

 So the Bible says, We are made of God. We have His Life and Nature in us. It’s just like in biology class when you are given a number of specimen and you are asked to classify them. You label them as, ‘This is of the PLANT SPECIES, this is of the ANIMAL SPECIES, this is a FUNGI, etc. In similar fashion, the Bible says YOU ARE OF THE GOD-SPECIES. We have God’s very life in us, no wonder the Word of God says, GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, than he that is in the world.

You see, there are far greater things in you that you might not be aware of. And that has always been the number one problem of humanity – our lack of knowledge. A good question you must answer is, “DO YOU KNOW ALL THAT IS IN YOU IN CHRIST?” Do you? How much of yourself do you know? When you are asked to write a spiritual myself, what grade do you think you will score in that assesment?

I know that Christ is in me. The Holy Spirit is in me. The Word of God is in me. Love is in me. Wisdom is in me. I AM OF GOD AND GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME than he that is in the world. Hallelujah! Glory to God!
