James 1:2-3,12 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
There is a crown reserved in heaven for those who have ultimately given their LIVES or died for the kingdom’s sake. It is the CROWN OF LIFE. But it’s not only when you die, but when you endure any of the children of death (ie : sufferings, pain, trials and persecutions, etc) for Christ’s sake. There is a reward for the child of God who suffers pain and persecution unduly.
In His message to the seven churches, Jesus said to Smyrna,
“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life“. – Rev 2:10
When you have been tried with all these things and you pass the test, there is a crown awaiting you. I know you might be facing some tough situations. But no matter what you are facing, DON’T GIVE UP AND DON’T GIVE IN. HOLD ON. FIGHT ON SOLDIER – FOR YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS YOU.
Don’t throw in the towel yet, for there is a crown at the end of it all. Be patient and endure this – for this also shall pass. It’s like the bodybuilder who endures some heavy weights in the gym in order to achieve a certain reward of body shape. He doesn’t give up when the burden seems so difficult because his eyes is on the price. You also, KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRICE and be thou strengthened and encouraged in Jesus name. AMEN! Have a blessed week beloved, in His name.
GRACEFUL MORNING
