Song of Solomon 4:7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.
2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
As King Solomon said in his Song,
‘Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee’
That is the state of the bride that Jesus is coming for. You see, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ANY BRIDEGROOM ON THE DAY OF WEDDING IS THE BEAUTY OF THE BRIDE BEING PRESENTED TO HIM. Of course, he will be concerned about the abilities and functionalities of this bride before the marriage, and he would have possibly done checks on that and worked on that. But on that wedding day, the BEAUTY OF THE BRIDE is of utmost concern.
Likewise, Jesus is the king of kings, and the Lord of Lords; He is the foremost gentleman in all of the universe, and his bride must meet up to his high standards. This bride cannot have defects and weaknesses at this point – she must be beautiful and without defect.
JESUS WANTS TO MARRY YOU, but before he does that He wants to wash you with His Word so that you will be without a single spot or wrinkle. Will you allow yourself to be beautified and married to?
GRACEFUL MORNING
