John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

One of the tragedies of our time is the misunderstanding of love. To ‘make love’ when checked from your dictionary means to engage in sexual intercourse. And for many people that’s what love is. For many people, LOVE IS SEX.  Could a person be more ‘wronger’ than that?

Because of this, it is dangerous for a brother to tell a Christian sister( or even another brother) that ‘I love you’. It can be easily interpreted as something else and you might soon find yourself in trouble. I fear for our generation, because until we understand what love truly is, the rot and canker in society cannot be cured.

Jesus said,

‘I give unto you a new commandment, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.’  This is THE LAW OF LOVE which Jesus talked about, and you must understand it as a child of God. This is the new law that must govern the new creation that Jesus has produced.

You must understand that LOVE IS NOT SEX; LOVE IS NOT CHOCOLATE; LOVE IS NOT ROMANCE; LOVE IS NOT EVEN MARRIAGE OR RELATIONSHIPS. What then is love? Stay tuned. May your week be LOVELY in Jesus name. Amen.
