Galatians 2:20 NKJV I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Galatians 2:20 AMPC I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
This is supposed to be the effective life of the Child of God,
THAT YOUR OWN LIFE CEASES AND CHRIST’S LIFE DRIVES YOU.
That you come to a vital place where you can say, like Paul said, that, ‘I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.’ If you are still living by and for yourself, then you have not yet come to this place; you have not yet reconciled your death with Christ unto your soul and unto your body.
This is what the being called man was created for, to be a dwelling place for God through Christ, whereby your words and actions and dealings are sourced from the life of Christ, and not from yourself, for yourself is dead.
Your born again experience brought you there legally. But you must learn through transformation to come vitally into this. By maturity, you must learn to drop the deeds of your dead OLD MAN, and come into total obedience and alignment to the will of your new Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
YOU MUST CEASE TO EXIST SO THAT CHRIST WILL LIVE THROUGH. This is a spiritual mystery that the carnal mind cannot understand. May the Lord give you understanding in Jesus name. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
