2 Corinthians 3:4-6 AMP [4] Such is the confidence and steadfast reliance and absolute trust that we have through Christ toward God. [5] Not that we are sufficiently qualified in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency and qualifications come from God. [6] He has qualified us [making us sufficient] as ministers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not of the letter [of a written code] but of the Spirit; for the letter [of the Law] kills [by revealing sin and demanding obedience], but the Spirit gives life.
What is the extent of the ability within us? What is the limit to what we can do in Christ? What can we do, and what can we not do? Paul answers in Philippians 4:13, saying, ‘I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’
Through the power of the Spirit of Christ within, the believer can DO ALL THINGS. Yes, there is a vastly untapped and unlimited power within you, capable of doing all things. There is a vast well of wisdom within you to solve any and every problem thrown at you. Of course, the sufficiency and qualifications is coming from the God within us, and not from ourselves.
You have read of the miraculous life of Jesus when he walked the earth, in the gospels. He turned water into wine, he healed all manner of sickness, he raised the dead, he multiplied bread to feed the hungry, he walked on the sea, and on and on… Jesus did these and more, and before his death and ascension he said, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, *the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do*; because I go unto my Father.’
Hallelujah! This is the true revelation of what the believer is capable of in Christ. Truth is, very few of us have accepted Jesus’ challenge and have dared to do the works he did and more. But, Jesus wasn’t lying when he made the declaration. YOU CAN DO THE GREATER WORKS. THERE IS NO LIMIT TO YOU. YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH THE POWER OF CHRIST WITHIN. Rise up and show forth what you can do in His name. May your week be GLORIOUS. Amen.
GRACEFUL MORNING
