Romans 6:3-4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
After you have properly made Jesus Christ your Lord and received the Faith of Jesus, you are then baptized into Christ through the Spirit.
Many of us when we hear BAPTISM only think of water baptism, but that’s just one of the various types of baptisms there are(there are basically 5 types). And time and space will not permit me to explain them all here. But the one we are concerned with here is the BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT.
After you are born again, you are usually baptized in water. This water baptism is supposed to be an outward declaration and demonstration of an inward baptism of the spirit. And sadly, many people go through water baptism without understanding its true essence. When you were immersed into the water and brought out, what did it mean to you?
Paul explained in Romans,
‘That’s what baptism into the life of Jesus means. When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus. Each of us is raised into a light-filled world by our Father so that we can see where we’re going in our new grace-sovereign country.’

Amazing. No ordinance should be taken for granted. Your outward water baptism represents vividly an inward spirit baptism that you experienced during the born-again process. YOU DIED WITH CHRIST AND YOU RESURRECTED WITH HIM THROUGH BAPTISM. This baptism produced you a new man in Christ. Shout hallelujah!
GRACEFUL MORNING
