Luke 12:41-43 Then Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?” [42] And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? [43] Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
Today it is rare to find FAITHFUL men and women anywhere. But faithfulness is supposed to be one of the key traits of the children of God.
Faithfulness is the character of one who can be relied on; the quality to be trustworthy and loyal. Are you a faithful friend? Are you a faithful partner? Or are you a faithful employee?
Today it is hard to find a faithful husband, even amongst Christian marriages. Having a side chick or multiple partners seems to be the order of the day. You are considered the odd one if you are not doing it. The marital vows is no longer sacred. This is very sad.
Having a faithful friend who will stick with you and by you through thick and thin is a priceless gift. A friend who sticks closer than a brother. Such people are rare and valuable, and should he held unto tightly. Are you such a friend? Or are you one who bails out at the least provocation?
If you are an employee or an employer, are you a faithful one? Can your work and commitment be trusted? Do you keep your word, or does your word mean nothing? You need to understand that, GOD IS FAITHFUL, and as his child and steward, it is required of you to be faithful too (1Cor 4:2).
Blessed is that servant whom his master will find faithful when he returns. Have a glorious week in His name. Amen!
GRACEFUL MORNING
