Romans 8:24-25
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
At the formation stage of faith, it becomes necessary that you don’t physically see, hear or feel the object you are having faith for; because when you see it then it’s no longer faith we are dealing with.
And not being weak in faith, he(Abraham) did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God – Rom 4:19-20
When faith is fully formed on something, you will see that even though you don’t physically posses the thing, yet still you have the assurance in your spirit concerning it. That’s the evidence of things not seen. When this assurance is in your heart you will do what Abraham did : GIVING GLORY TO GOD EVEN THOUGH YOU STILL DON’T HAVE THE PHYSICAL CHILD. You will dance and shout hallelujah unto God. People around you may not understand why you are praising but you know; because you’ve got the substance in your heart. That’s the evidence you need. Glory to God.
