Matthew 7:16-18 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?  Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

Jesus gave us clear understanding on the subject of fruit bearing. He said, A GOOD TREE CANNOT BRING FORTH EVIL FRUITS. What? This is very striking. You cannot say you have the Righteousness of God in you and not LIVE RIGHT. He said, “people do not pick grapes from thornbushes”.

If you have the goodness of God in you, YOU MUST do good and be kind to people. If you are the Righteousness of God, YOU MUST live right. If you have the love of God shared abroad in your heart, YOU MUST be loving to people. Don’t be confessing ONE THING whiles your deeds show ANOTHER. It’s not just about the seed in you, the Fruits matter even more.

Do we have born again believers who still struggle with sin and all forms of evil? Yes. What is the problem? Do they not have the life of God in them? They do. The problem is, they have not yet come to the FULL KNOWLEDGE of WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST and hence not expressing it. They are like that little boy, who although he is 100% human being, yet is not walking and cannot talk because he needs to grow up. As a result, they are not out-living that inner life. That’s why God’s Word is coming to you – to help you to produce the Fruits that are in you. Say with me, ” I am a Good and Fruitful Tree, and I bear Good Fruits. I bear FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS all the time, and it shows in all I do. Hallelujah!”. Glooooory!
