Hebrews 12:22‭-‬24 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

WE HAVE COME TO MOUNT ZION. Zion is the city of God inside the heavenly country, it is the heavenly Jerusalem, it’s the city where there are innumerable company of angels and saints.

Inside the heavenly country which we are citizens of, we are not just in any slum or outskirt town, we are in the capital city. Hallelujah! ANY MAN WHO IS IN CHRIST HAS ARRIVED IN ZION, THE CAPITAL CITY OF GOD, AND IS ENTITLED TO ALL THE BLESSINGS AND GOODIES OF THAT CITY.

And you know, just like in any country, the best amenities and resources are mostly centred in the capital city, so it is for those who dwell in zion; they enjoy the best heaven has to offer. And that’s how you must think and talk. This is why Isaiah 33:24 tells us that

No one living in Zion will say, “I am ill”; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven. Glory to God.

Your language changes. Are you in Zion? Then the Lord wants you speak as one in zion. Don’t speak as if you are still of the world. Noo. You are in zion now and your speech must reflect that. There are certain things that should never proceed from your mouth no matter what you are seeing around you. MAINTAIN YOUR COMPOSURE, KEEP THE FAITH, AND ALWAYS SPEAK FORTH WHAT GOD HAS SAID OF YOU.
