I Kings 19:13‭-‬14,18 So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” And he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.” Then the Lord said to him: …I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.

Like Elijah, there those who think that they are the sole reps or agents of God in their quarters. And that if God has something to say it will be through them. They are deluded. MAN OF GOD, GOD SPEAKS AND WORKS IN DIVERSE WAYS NONE OF US CAN FULLY FATHOM. He said to Elijah, “You are not the only one. I have 7,000 prophets all over which you have no knowledge of.” I am surprised that there are ministers who still think and act that way even today – some forbid their members from listening to any other minister. Can you imagine?

And sadly, there are some brethren that have accepted that all God has to say to them is through their General Overseer, and so they don’t listen to anything else. YOU ERR, AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE AND POWER OF THE BODY OF CHRIST. As a Pastor, I have received life-saving instructions from persons who are not ordained and who are from different ministries.

Friend, come down from your high horse. You are not the only one that God will speak through – so give ear to other members of the BODY; Remember, God even spoke through a donkey.
