Proverbs 4:7‭-‬9 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”

Now let’s answer the question, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN GIVEN IN CHRIST? WHEN YOU GOT BORN AGAIN DID YOU RECEIVE SOMETHINGS? WHAT DID YOU RECEIVE?

After knowing your IDENTITY and your POSITION in Christ, you must know all your POSSESSIONS. Like Paul the Apostle said, you must know the things that are freely given to you of God. When you read through the scriptures you will find in many places God’s Word telling you, ‘You have received this’, ‘you have that’, ‘this is yours’, ‘that has been given unto you’, etc. As a wise child of God, you must pay attention to all such declarations of truth concerning you, for these are your possessions in the kingdom. YOU MUST SEEK TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ALL YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN IN CHRIST, for this is how you will experientially enter into your inheritance. This is how you will not be like that guy who owns the whole estate but yet begs for coins at the entrance of the estate because he lacked understanding concerning what he had.

So Proverbs admonishes to,

‘Get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.’

When you gain understanding of your inheritance in Christ it will bring you a life of Promotion, Honor, Grace and Glory. YOU WILL REIGN BY CHRIST JESUS. This is the life that God has prepared for all his children. Don’t settle for anything less. Grow in knowledge and understanding concerning all that has been given you in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
