Ephesians 4:3‭-‬4 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There  is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;

It is scripturally not correct to preach unity to the children of God. To ask a group of believers to be united is to suppose that they are not; but I tell you, THEY  ALREADY ARE UNITED even though they might not be expressing it.

We are united by the same SEAL OF THE SPIRIT, whether we know it or not. That is why the admonishment is to KEEP or MAINTAIN the Unity Of The Spirit – not to create it. Think about it like this, a father may have some disagreements with his son, and they may fall out big time and not be in talking terms for many years. But does that erase the Father’s DNA from the son? Of course NOT. They are still united by the same genetic code, even though they are not in talking terms. By the identification of the genetic code, he is still the son of that man.

In the same way that that boy cannot erase the father’s DNA from his cells, you cannot erase the Seal of the Holy Spirit from your spirit. What can you do? You are stuck in union with me through the Spirit!😁

It’s funny sometimes when you see the infighting and backbiting and pull-downs that believers do to one another in the name of different denominations, or even due to sects within the same local church. We are simply ignorant of the UNITY OF THE SPIRIT which we are supposed to keep.

You can dislike me, or insult me, or not want to have anything to do with me; your doctrinal practices can be so distant from mine; but so long as you are born again, YOU ARE MY BROTHER, YOU ARE MY SISTER. We are united by the Spirit of Christ. If only every believer can understand this…. Hallelujah to His Name. Amen!
