Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Colossians 1:5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

What is the hope of our calling as Christians?

Our methods may differ, our cultural preferences may vastly contrast, we may belong to distinct organizations with varying non-essential beliefs, but our END GOAL as Christians is the same – we have the SAME HOPE IN CHRIST.

For instance, there is not a single believer anywhere in the world who does not look forward to be with the Lord Jesus after this life. There is that inner longing and expectation of Glory that is common to every true believer – You expect to see and be with the Lord one day. Your spirit, soul and body groans and yearns for something glorious which is beyond this realm. It doesn’t matter whether you speak Mandarin or you pray in Hausa; whether you live in Johannesburg or you were born in the Amazon forest; if you are born again then you have this Hope Of Our Calling. The very presence of Christ in you is what is giving birth to this Hope Of Glory In You (Colossians 1:27)

  YOU MUST HAVE THIS HOPE IF YOU ARE BORN AGAIN – If you don’t have it, then I am sorry, you are not one of us. It’s that simple.. Have a beautiful day in His name. Amen!
