Ephesians 5:8-10 AMP For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [live as those who are native-born to the Light] (for the fruit [the effect, the result] of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [ and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him—your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].

The Bible says in our referenced text in Ephesians 5:8-10 that,

“For the FRUITS which is the effects and results of the Light, is shown by your goodness and righteousness and truth” (paraphrased).

So what are your FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS? Your deeds done in the Lord; Your acts of kindness/goodness; Your good works based on your being of Righteousness – How you outwork the nature of God in you; Souls that you help save and build; Your words of Thanksgiving….etc. There are essentially 12 kinds of fruits the Bible gives us.

In 2Cor 9:10, your GIVING to the advancement of the Gospel are part of your fruits.

Can you see that it’s not okay for the BELIEVER who is born of God to just live anyhow, becoming unfruitful? It matters how you express the GOD-LIFE in you. For this will result in your ETERNAL GLORY in the ages to come. Make no mistake about it, WE SHALL NOT ALL BE THE SAME IN THE END.

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be .” – Rev 22:12

Child of God, WHERE ARE YOUR WORKS? WHERE ARE YOUR FRUITS? What is the evidence that you are in the light? Gloryyyyy!
